The Courtyard Project

The courtyard is a 22,832 square-foot space that is protected, secure, and open to the sky. Plans for this ongoing project are in direct response to the wishes of our most important audience: our residents!   This newly refreshed area has become a terrific outdoor space for all of our seniors to enjoy. It is an area where residents, family, and staff will be able to stroll along the paved trails, stop to exercise, rest, enjoy nature, or just sit in the gazebo. 

Our courtyard has been certified as a Wildlife Habitat through the National Wildlife Federation. This means it has all the elements (food, water, cover, places to raise young, and sustainable practices) needed to sustain insects, bees, butterflies, birds, and amphibians. We are committed to making a difference for wildlife.

The space continues to see improvements with plans for the addition of more trees, a variety of perennials, and a new bird sanctuary. This serene space will enhance the physical, emotional, and spiritual growth of each person who uses it and will create a sense of well-being.
