Mennowood Retirement Community is a tranquil, friendly place for seniors and their families. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for each resident through personalized attention and care. We believe in preserving dignity through personal choice, respect, and understanding in an environment that brings joy and fulfillment to all who live and work here. Our focus is on providing seniors with a supportive setting so they can enjoy life as they choose.
The flexibility we offer makes our senior community a very attractive choice. We offer seniors an enriching continuing-care lifestyle that offers independent living, assisted living, or memory care needs. But most of all, we offer community—a feeling of welcome and belonging. Our seniors enjoy life enrichment activities and camaraderie, plus moments of serenity.
Our History
Mennowood is a non-profit, non-denominational retirement community founded in 1985 by the local Mennonite community. Residing on land that was once a dairy farm, our senior care campus is framed with nature and trees, yet conveniently close to shopping, entertainment, and hospitals.
The Mennowood Foundation
The Mennowood Foundation is a Charitable Endowment Fund corporation [501(c)3] dedicated to enriching the lives of residents who live in our community. The Foundation’s volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of local members from various backgrounds and businesses.
