At Mennowood Retirement Community, we recognize the relationships that make life great and do our best to support them in any way we can. For example, families are regularly invited to participate in life enrichment programs and outings, and are always welcome to share a meal with their loved one.

Furthermore, individual team members are dedicated to cultivating supportive, trusting relationships with each resident and their family. Our ties to local groups and organizations in the greater Newport News area further embrace this idea, and keep residents connected to the greater community.

At Mennowood, whenever possible, we strive to create opportunities for established relationships to flourish and for new relationships to develop.

Whether it’s a friendly activity on our retirement community campus, or taking part in an outing in the neighborhood, we encourage our residents to enjoy the company of old and new friends.  The exemplary care at Mennowood allows seniors to have more time for relationships that bring joy to their lives.
